This policy explains how cancellations, subscription changes, and refunds are handled for Statixoup’s services.
1. Overview
Statixoup may offer free plans, paid subscriptions, trial plans, promotional plans, and custom plans for its monitoring services.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this Refund / Cancellation Policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
If you cancel your paid subscription:
- your plan will usually remain active until the end of the current billing period;
- you will not be charged for the next renewal cycle;
- cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, unless otherwise stated in this policy or required by law.
3. Downgrade to Free Plan
If Statixoup offers a free plan, you may choose to downgrade from a paid plan to a free plan, subject to feature and usage limits.
Upon downgrade:
- paid features may be removed or limited;
- monitor count, heartbeat count, alerting, data retention, or other features may be reduced;
- changes may take effect immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle, depending on the subscription settings.
4. Refund Policy
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all subscription fees are non-refundable once paid.
This includes, without limitation:
- unused subscription time;
- partial billing periods;
- accidental non-use of the service;
- plan downgrades during an active billing cycle;
- failure to cancel before renewal;
- temporary suspension caused by violation of our Terms.
5. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, consider a refund in limited situations such as:
- duplicate payments made in error;
- incorrect billing due to a technical issue caused by us;
- unauthorized charges that are verified after review;
- exceptional cases where a refund is required under applicable law.
Any approved refund will generally be processed back to the original payment method, where possible.
6. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
If we offer a free trial or promotional access:
- the offer will be subject to the terms presented at the time of sign-up;
- unless otherwise stated, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid plan after the trial ends;
- it is your responsibility to cancel before the trial renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
Fees charged after a trial converts into a paid subscription are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
7. Failed or Disputed Payments
If a payment fails or is reversed:
- we may retry the charge;
- we may suspend or limit access to paid features;
- we may downgrade your account or cancel the subscription;
- continued access may be restricted until outstanding amounts are paid.
If you believe a charge was incorrect, you should contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review and help resolve the issue.
8. No Refund for Policy Violations
We do not provide refunds where an account is suspended or terminated due to:
- breach of our Terms and Conditions;
- misuse of the platform;
- unlawful or unauthorized monitoring activity;
- abuse, fraud, or malicious behavior.
9. Service Availability
We work to provide a reliable service, but occasional downtime, maintenance, third-party service disruption, or technical issues may occur.
Unless required by law or specifically covered under a separate written service-level agreement, such events do not automatically qualify for a refund.
10. Custom / Enterprise Plans
For custom, enterprise, or manually invoiced plans, refund and cancellation terms may be governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, order form, or contract.
Where such an agreement exists, that agreement will control in the event of any conflict with this policy.

12. Processing of Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved:
- it may take a reasonable number of business days to process;
- the final time for receiving funds depends on your payment provider, bank, or card issuer;
- we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.

We may update this Refund / Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any updated version will be posted on our website with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
